Men’s Trousers: Picking Up A Style
In these days, men and women wear formal and informal trousers. Trousers are made from a variety of fabrics including wool, tweed, linen, crepe, jersey and denim. For making them it requires accurate measurements, dedicated time and craftsmanship. Trousers are the more traditional alternative to jeans when we think of semi-casual and formal wear. Flat fronted and pleated trousers are famous over a decade. Pleated trousers include single, double and triple pleated trousers. Many people consider pleated trousers as a symbol of formality and sophistication. If we wear a pleated trouser properly a fine pleat-line can cause the eye to follow the line up the body and get the attention to the man’s face as well as create the appearance of longer lines thus giving the perception or appearance of more height. Flat fronted trousers are often used with suits and jacket and many people consider it to be more casual.
The cuffs or the turn ups are located at the bottom of the trouser. They are considered to be less formal than no cuffs or turn ups. Cuffs should be avoided with formal attire dress. Pleated trousers usually have cuffs but flat front trousers may or may not have cuffs. There are many pocket styles in men’s trousers. But mainly there are two styles. They are side seam pockets and slanted pockets. The side seam pocket gets less attention were as slanted pocket provide easy access but may puff out while sitting or bending. Body type plays an important role in trouser selection. The skinny and long legged man can wear both pleated and flat front trousers but the short men must be more careful while picking up a style.
